Here are some of my favorite stories and articles about the game tonight.
Bob Hunter of the Dispatch does a great job summarizing the impact tonight’s game has on the perception of the program. Perception is Reality, Until the Buckeyes Change it.
EDSBS paints a positive picture of Buckeye fans in New Orleans. Wish I could be there with you! Ohio State, LSU fans are Polar Opposites.
Men of the Scarlett and Gray posted the 5 things the Buckeyes must do to win on both sides of the ball. Offense and Defense
I was reviewing the 100 Things that had me excited about the Buckeyes this year, and oddly enough I didn’t even mention the possibility of playing the National Title game. Check out some of the other pseudo-predictions I made, and of course see the videos again. Part 1. Part 2.

Orson’s piece over at Sporting News is great… I can’t wait for kickoff.

Yeah, that post on EDSBS is quite excellent. Thanks for the heads up.

[...] 1) Orson from EDSBS is reporting live from New Orleans. Word on Bourbon Street is that the OSU fans are out-classing the LSU fans. Plus, he uses the term “adult gymnastics,” making it that much better. Check it out here. (h/t to Rick over at Halftime Adjustments) [...]

Well, that was fun. Almost just like watching the Bengals find new, creative ways to lose. The personal foul penalties were infuriating and inexcusable. Especially the 4th and 23 roughing the kicker. There are no words to describe the idiocy of that choice.
LSU played a great game, except for that one interception. They deserved to win. I just wish OSU hadn’t helped them along so much.
It really pained me to watch Robo drop an uncontested TD, a play he makes over and over again in practice. Then the blocked FG was the icing on the cake. That problem went uncorrected all year long. And that moment was the defining moment in the game, IMHO.
My wish list for February’s signing day is for 2 bad ass DTs, an equally bad ass Mike, and a QB who plays smart and doesn’t try to be Superman.
At least they played hard. Not very smart at times, but they gave great effort. And the sun did come up again this morning.
