Young Bucks, Shoot Well.

Pat Glasser has his eye on the Ohio State basketball team. Good thing one of us does…

Even though deer hunting season is now upon us I am referring to another group of Bucks. Last week the defending Big Ten champs and national runner’s up Ohio State men’s basketball team started their 2007-2008 season with 2 solid wins. Beating Wisconsin-Green Bay and Columbia at the Schottestein Center. Two things led them to their 2 wins; good defensive pressure and good outside shooting.

Butler not only can start the break and run he also knows when to shoot, which he does very well. 2 other players returning from last year are Othello Hunter and David Lighty both are in the starting line-up this year and playing really well. Lighty had the best all-around game their first night with Hunter adding defense around the basket like last year’s All-American and first pick Greg Oden did. Continue reading
